Purpose of the service

Convert PDF File provides browser-based PDF and image utilities plus educational articles about document workflows. The tools are provided for ordinary document and image conversion tasks. They are not professional legal, archival, medical, accessibility-remediation or forensic services.

Your files and responsibility

You are responsible for having the right to process the files you select and for keeping appropriate backups. The current working tools are designed to process supported files locally in your browser, but output can differ depending on the browser, device, file structure and available memory. Always inspect the downloaded file before replacing or deleting an original.

Unsupported, encrypted or damaged files

A tool may be unable to read a password-protected, encrypted, malformed, corrupted or unusually encoded document. A failed conversion does not mean the original file is invalid in every application. If a document is important, open it in a trusted viewer and keep the original copy.

Features can be changed, improved, removed or temporarily unavailable. Browser vendors and third-party software libraries can also change behavior. We may update the interface, file limits or supported formats as the project develops.

Articles and informational content

Blog articles are general educational material. They may describe common file-format behavior and practical workflows, but they cannot cover every document variation. External links are provided for convenience and do not imply control over third-party websites.

Advertising

The site may display advertising through Google AdSense. Advertisers and advertising providers are responsible for their own products, offers and destination pages. An advertisement appearing on the site is not an endorsement by Convert PDF File.
