Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This policy explains how Convert PDF File handles selected files, normal website data, analytics, advertising and consent.
Files selected in the converter
The current working conversion tools are designed to process supported PDF and image files locally in your browser. We do not intentionally upload the contents of files you select in those tools to a Convert PDF File conversion server. Processing can still use temporary browser memory, object URLs and downloaded third-party software libraries required for the tool to operate.
Because the processing happens on your device, closing or refreshing the page normally clears the in-page conversion state. You should still keep your original documents and independently verify any downloaded result before relying on it.
Website hosting and server logs
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may process standard request and security logs. These can include IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or user-agent information, referring page and technical error information. Such logs may be used for reliability, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and security.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage, such as page views, general traffic sources, device categories and engagement with site pages. Analytics data helps us identify broken pages and understand which guides and tools visitors find useful. Google Analytics can use cookies or similar technologies depending on your region, consent choices and browser settings.
Google AdSense and advertising
We use Google AdSense to serve and measure advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device information or similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize or measure ads as permitted by applicable law and your consent choices. Advertising code is separate from the browser-based file conversion process and does not need the contents of the documents you select for conversion.
Consent management
For visitors in regions where consent is required for certain advertising or measurement purposes, we use a Google-certified consent management platform message. The message can provide choices such as consent, do not consent and manage options. You can use those controls to change available privacy choices.
Third-party technical resources
The site loads some software libraries, fonts or other resources from third-party content-delivery networks. When your browser requests those resources, the provider can receive ordinary network information such as your IP address, user agent and the requested resource. These libraries help perform browser-side PDF and image operations.
Links to other websites
Our articles or guest-post guidance may link to external websites for reference. We do not control the privacy practices, availability or content of third-party sites. Review their policies before submitting information or files to them.
Children's privacy
The service is a general-purpose document utility and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe personal information has been submitted to us in error, contact us so we can evaluate the request.
Your choices
You can use browser controls to manage cookies, use the consent message where available, limit third-party requests through browser privacy features, or stop using the site. Some analytics or advertising functions may be limited when consent or storage is disabled.
